When do I need to turn in my contract to finalize my reservation?

You have 14 days from the day the contract was sent to you to return it signed. We will hold your desired dates during those 14 days. After 14 days, we cannot guarantee those dates and another group is able to reserve them.

When do I have to give my final attendance number to the Grove?

You are contractually obligated to the number of registrants 7 days out from the start of your event. Final numbers must be given no later than 7 days prior. This gives us time to order food and supplies accordingly.

Do you accommodate the menu for food allergies?

We do not guarantee allergy item substitutes on the menu. If we are able, we will definitely provide what we are able, but there is a refrigerator in the dining hall that is available to guests to bring their own supplemental food items.

What are the meal times?

All meal times are set at 8am, 12pm, and 6pm. These times allow for smooth transition for our staff who work both recreation and kitchen. Meal times are flexible if you are the only group on campus, but still must be approved by the Grove and coordinated with your staffed recreation schedule.

What times can I schedule staffed recreation?

You can schedule staff recreation between the following time slots: 9-11am, 1-5pm, and 7-10pm.

When do I need to turn in my recreation schedule for my event to the Grove?

Your desired recreation schedule needs to be turned into the Grove for approval 14 days prior to your event. We often have mulitple groups on campus at the same time and schedules must be coordinated and staffed before approval. Schedule priorities between two groups depends on who turned their schedule in first, so don’t delay and get your schedule in asap.

What upgrades have been made in 2024-2025?

Our kitchen has been overhauled with huge upgrades in the quality of the food.

An entirely new Aqua Course has been purchased for summer 2025.

A new Blob has been purchased for summer 2025.

Pioneer Lodge received an entire new ceiling and structure, allowing us to remove the large column in the center of the meeting space.

Settlers Lodge has received a new roof.

Do participants need to sign a release of liability waiver?

Yes, all participants who access the Grove property are required to sign a release of liability waiver. This can can be found on our website under the “For Group Leaders” tab.
